Join the finance team supporting a growing European investment platform focused on B2B SaaS & AI companies across Northern Europe.

Looking to move from audit or finance into a hands-on role where you can take real ownership of reporting, fund operations and finance processes within a growing investment platform?

In this role, you’ll support the finance operations of our funds and management company, contributing to the day-to-day running and continuous improvement of the finance infrastructure behind multiple funds and entities.

You’ll join a lean finance and fund management team, working alongside ~40 colleagues across Antwerp, Amsterdam and Munich.

What you’ll be doing

Your role sits at the centre of Fortino’s finance operations, ensuring the financial infrastructure supporting the funds and management company runs smoothly.

Finance day-to-day operations

• Coordinate day-to-day finance operations

• Act as a key point of contact for external accountants and service providers

• Oversee monthly and quarterly close cycles ensuring completeness and data accuracy

Fund operations & portfolio support

• Maintain and monitor fund accounting records

• Support investor reporting and related deliverables

• Review reporting from portfolio companies and support follow-up where needed

• Contribute to portfolio-related financial analysis

Platform finance coordination

• Coordinate financial data and reporting across multiple jurisdictions

• Support documentation and information flow across the platform

• Manage finance-related communication with external parties

Finance & regulatory reporting

• Prepare and maintain monthly internal financial reporting

• Prepare regulatory reporting (including FSMA reporting)

• Support investor reporting and side-letter follow-up

• Assist with annual accounts, IFRS reporting and audit coordination

Finance process improvement

• Build finance playbooks and documentation

• Identify opportunities to improve automation and efficiency

• Help structure and improve finance operations across the platform

What you bring

• Around 3–5 years of experience in audit, finance or fund operations

• Experience with financial statements, reporting or accounting processes

• A structured and reliable way of working with strong attention to detail

• Ability to take ownership and work independently in a small team

• A genuine interest in private equity and fund operations

• Dutch and English fluency (French is a plus)

Typical backgrounds include:

• Big4 audit (financial services / asset management)

• Fund administration or fund accounting

• Finance roles within private equity, venture capital or asset management

💡 This role focuses on finance operations and reporting supporting the investment platform rather than investment or deal execution.
