Senior DevOps Solutions Engineer - London & Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Do you want to shape the future of software delivery in the financial services industry?

Kosli is looking for Senior DevOps Solutions Engineers to join our growing teams in London and Edinburgh. As part of a fast-paced startup, this role is about helping customers succeed by implementing innovative solutions to transform the way banks and financial institutions deliver software.

About Kosli

Kosli’s mission is to change the way we deliver software in regulated industries.

The world is built on mission-critical software - it calculates our bank balance, drives our cars, diagnoses our illnesses, runs critical infrastructure, etc. We want to empower the engineers who make this software.

AI is changing how this software gets built - teams are shipping faster, with more changes, under more scrutiny than ever before. In regulated industries, that creates a real problem because every change still needs to be controlled, and governance hasn’t kept pace.

Kosli automates software delivery governance so that controls get stronger and teams can ship faster.

We are an ambitious group of people and we want you to join us.

We are funded by leading VC investors such as Heavybit (investors in Snyk, LaunchDarkly, CircleCI, Netlify, Tailscale) and Deutsche Bank.

About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to design and implement high-impact, scalable Kosli implementations.

This role spans strategic technical discussions, solution architecture design, implementation support and long-term client management. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product, and sales teams to ensure we deliver best-in-class service and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with technology executives, engineers, and stakeholders in pre-sales technical conversations and long-term relationship management.
  • Design, develop, and oversee solutions to ensure successful deployment of Kosli, meeting customer control and audit requirements.

  • Help shape Kosli’s service offerings, including training and onboarding programs for new customers.
  • Support marketing efforts through content creation, including blog posts, webinars, and live events.
  • Collaborate in the Sales and Field Services Team to deliver exceptional customer service.

You might be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Live in London or Edinburgh or are within commutable distance
  • Solid experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering
  • Proven architectural and design skills
  • Programming and scripting languages (Python, Go, YAML, JSON etc.)
  • Policy as code, for example Open Policy Agent and Rego.
  • Git and version control workflows
  • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab etc.)
  • Container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • A background in financial services or similar regulated industries
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks, and security requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX, PCI DSS, FedRAMP, FFIEC, NYDFS, and SEC compliance requirements)
  • A track record in consulting, solutions architecture, or technical coaching.
  • Interest in technical sales and supporting go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, CISSP, CISM, or other security certifications are a plus

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Generous equity plan.
  • Remote-first working environment with travel to our Oslo office and customer sites across Europe (London, Zurich, and more).
