Designation: QA Test Specialist / QA Test Lead

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated QA Test Specialist / QA Test Lead to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA, with experience leading testing efforts, mentoring junior engineers, and managing complex testing projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products, and your expertise will drive our QA strategy and testing processes. We are looking for someone who is proactive, hands-on, and capable of managing a team while maintaining a high level of technical proficiency.

What You Will Need to Do:

• Lead and manage testing activities across multiple projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and defect-free product releases.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
• Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests, ensuring that defects are tracked, prioritized, and resolved efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and business analysts, to ensure clear communication and shared understanding of project requirements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous learning.
• Take ownership of the testing process throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post-release validation.
• Identify risks and issues related to testing and software quality, and proactively implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Perform performance testing, load testing, and security testing, as required, to ensure the application meets non-functional requirements.
• Continuously evaluate and refine the QA processes and tools to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall quality.
• Ensure comprehensive reporting and documentation, providing detailed test results, defect logs, and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate test environment setup and maintenance, ensuring that all necessary tools and configurations are in place for successful testing execution.

What You Will Need to Have:

• Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience & Technical Skills:
• 4-7 years of experience in QA testing, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or specialist role.
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g. Katalon) and frameworks (e.g., TestNG).
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing techniques, including regression, integration, functional, and system testing.
• Experience with performance, load, and stress testing (using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar).
• Solid knowledge of API testing (using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured).
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, ALM) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and how they integrate with QA processes.
• Good to have Katloon
• Must have ISTQB Certification.
