About the role:

Lead the transformation of Maxxton into an AI-native platform by developing and executing the AI roadmap (2026-2030). The Lead AI & Data Science is responsible for translating Maxxton’s rich structured data and business rules into scalable AI solutions that improve customer outcomes, accelerate implementations, and open new revenue streams.

• Translate Maxxton’s AI strategy into an actionable roadmap with quarterly deliverables aligned to the Predict → Automate → Autonomy framework.

• Build and deliver AI-driven product features such as dynamic pricing, add-on recommendations, AI agents, and operational intelligence tools.

• Collaborate with Product and Technology leadership to embed AI across modules and ensure seamless integration into the platform.

• Own and continuously refine Maxxton’s data governance framework, including data quality, freshness, and decay management.

• Design and maintain the AI data infrastructure (pipelines, training datasets, feature stores) in close collaboration with Engineering.

• Lead the AI & Data Science team while establishing a cross-functional AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) that connects with Product, Support, and Professional Services.

• Act as the internal evangelist of AI innovation, driving experimentation and learning culture across departments.
  
  

Characteristics of our colleague in the role of Lead AI & Data Science

• 5+ years of leadership experience in AI, data science, or machine learning roles.

• Track record of designing and deploying predictive, generative, and autonomous AI systems.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering business-impacting AI solutions.

• Strong understanding of data governance, ethical AI, and regulatory compliance.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bridge scientific, engineering, and commercial perspectives.

• Strategic problem-solving and business acumen

• Deep technical understanding of LLMs, MLOps, data engineering, and agent frameworks

• Proven experience scaling AI initiatives from PoC to production

• Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and commercial functions

• Passion for experimentation and continuous learning
