In a rapidly growing company like TechWolf, the role of an Accountant goes beyond traditional responsibilities. TechWolf operates in multiple jurisdictions, with legal entities in Belgium, the UK, and the US, allowing you to work with people across the world.

As we navigate the complexities of a fast-growing environment, we recognize the critical role that the Accountant plays in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance but also in optimizing processes to support our fast pace.

What you'll do:

As an Accountant at TechWolf, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, actively contributing to the following key areas:

• Financial Data Management: contribute to the day-to-day financial operations for three legal entities in Belgium, the UK, and the US, including data entry, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of our GL accounts, ensuring accuracy, identifying discrepancies for prompt resolution and maintaining audit-ready bookkeeping.

• Support Month-end Close: Collaborate with the finance team to support the month-end close and contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Expense Management: Monitor and manage expenses for all legal entities, ensuring compliance with company policies and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

• Assist in Audits: Support the yearly financial audit prosses by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries to ensure a smooth audit process.

• VAT Filing and Tax Compliance: Support in the monthly filing of VAT and ensure adherence to other compliance-related tasks.

• Process Optimization: Actively contribute to the optimization of financial processes required to support a fast-growing company, identifying areas for efficiency improvement and implementing best practices.

• Ad Hoc Financial Tasks: Contribute to special projects and financial analysis as needed to support the evolving needs of the organization

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a minimum of 4 years of experience working as an Accountant or Auditor

• Experience with accounting software (Exact Online or Quickbooks are a plus)

• Has strong analytical skills, a structured approach to work and attention to detail

• Hungry to help build a category-defining software company

• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possesses the problem-solving abilities to effectively address new challenges.

• Is based in Belgium and is eager to work from our Ghent office at least a few days a week.

• Fluent in English, and Dutch is a plus.
