Job Overview
We're looking for a curious and analytically minded Data Engineering Intern to join our Data & Analytics team in Brussels.
You'll work at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, focusing on the gold layer of our Medallion Architecture, turning structured data into meaningful KPIs and business-ready insights. You'll dig into existing data, optimise what's there, and collaborate directly with stakeholders across the business. By the end of your internship, you'll present your work to our C-level team. What you'll be doing
Focus on the gold layer of the Medallion Architecture, building KPIs and business-ready data outputs
Dig into existing data to identify issues and optimise current datasets
Gather requirements from stakeholders across different departments
Translate business problems into actionable data solutions
Contribute to discussions on data architecture and pipeline development
Present your work and findings to the C-level at the end of the internship
Who you are
Currently studying Maths, Physics, Statistics, Data Engineering, Data Management, or a related quantitative field
Comfortable with Python, PySpark, and Databricks, or genuinely motivated to get there fast
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions
A natural communicator who can hold your own in stakeholder conversations
Proactive, curious, and not afraid to dig into messy data
Able to provide a university internship agreement
Fluent in English
Available for a 6-month internship starting September 2026, with at least 2 days per week on-site in Brussels
