The opportunity

We're looking for a (Junior) Accountant to join our Finance team and grow with us. You'll get hands-on exposure to the full accounting cycle across a multi-country SaaS business: bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT prep, and month-end close, while working alongside experienced colleagues who'll invest in your development.

This is a role for someone early in their accounting career who wants to build a strong technical foundation in a fast-scaling, international environment. If you're curious, detail-oriented, and keen to take ownership, you'll have plenty of room to stretch.

What you'll be doing

• Handling day-to-day bookkeeping: recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, keeping our numbers clean and current

• Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports

• Reconciling bank accounts, payables, and receivables

• Organising and preparing supporting documentation for VAT returns filed by our external partner

• Working closely with the rest of the Finance team to ensure our financial data is accurate and on time

• Jumping in on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis when needed

What you'll bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or a similar finance role

• A solid grasp of accounting fundamentals and VAT basics

• Comfort in Excel (formulas, pivots, the essentials)

• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus

• A sharp eye for detail and strong organisational habits

• A proactive mindset; you ask questions, take initiative, and follow through

• Good communication skills and a genuine team spirit

• Fluent English; German is a strong plus
